Poet and St. Louis native James Crews will be reading from his award-winning collection of poems The Book of What Stays (University of Nebraska Press, 2011) in the Gallery Morton J. May Foundation at Maryville University on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00 PM. Crews is the recent recipient of a Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Prize, and in his free time he writes reviews and essays for basalt magazine and regularly contributes to the (London) Times Literary Supplement. He is currently completing his PhD at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
